Soft carriers for short people

I recently bought the ergobaby omni classic and I hate it. I am 4’10 and I hate it. It’s so long and the mesh makes me itch and I can’t imagine putting the delicate skin that I made from scratch in that thing. It’s also expensive for the quality (imo). I also can’t properly gage how I feel about carriers because I am whale right now. Should I wait until after the baby is here to decide on a carrier or do you guys have recommendations?

I know carriers are personal and experiences vary, but some options to consider would be nice!

Happy baby original. I am not short but I have a very short torso and the happy baby is so comfortable

Anything with an apron waistband will be more comfortable on shorter frames than a waterfall waist because the waistband takes up less height. Ergobaby Omnis are some of the bulkiest carriers on the market. I’d personally get something for the first couple months and see what you think once baby gets here.
