Discuss Do your babies wear dresses?
Hi everyone,
I have a little girl and 2-3 dresses that I would love to put her in. They were all gifts and I cannot help it, I love them so much. But then when I think about it I feel weird putting her in a dress and then in my wrap for her nap. Do your babies actually wear dresses even in wraps/carriers?
Maybe a weird question but I am genuinely so curious lol. Thanks!

My baby doesn’t wear dresses but there’s no reason they can’t wear a dress in a carrier. If it’s a long dress you may need to fold/bunch it up to allow their legs to sit properly in the seat.

I just pull the dress down when I lay baby on the wrap to Superman her up. It usually stays pretty flat. For me, the hardest part of wrapping in a dress is that we do cloth diapers and making a seat is impossible if baby is in one of the plasticky covers because the wrap just slides off. So I put her in wool covers to wrap with dresses.

My daughter wears dresses for church. I prefer to wear her in the carrier when she has pants, but if she's wearing a dress and I need to wear her, then I do it with her dress on. It just bunches up. I think it would be uncomfortable but it doesn't bother her.
There is nothing weird or bad about it.
