Communication Its sucks when getting misunderstand by everyone

last time in online group, some guy talked about autism and described it as 'super power' which makes people smarter.

I replied that autism is more like a disablility rather than super power, and got a reply "you are so disrespectful",and yelled by everyone in the group, they told me to shut up....

I tried to make my point about how autistic things cause trouble and effect life. Then that guy told me he is autism and very successful in life. I got why he was angry,he thought i was trying to insult him by saying those.

Its just a misunderstanding ,but its really sucks that getting jumpped by everyone.

I can relate. For me, I do my best to 1. communicate myself clearly and 3. whether directly or indirectly, invite anyone to ask any clarifying questions or voice any concerns they may have should they feel confused or unclear about anything I expressed.
Beyond that, it’s out of my hands. At the end of the day, misunderstanding happen all the time, and it’s more to do with being human and less to do with being ‘bad’ or something to be worth being so worried about constantly.
If I end up unintentionally misrepresenting myself and / or someone misunderstands me, I can only do so much. If someone misinterprets and or takes issue with something I say but never offers an opportunity to address it, why would I beat myself up over a problem I was never given a fair chance to resolve.
Idk does that all make sense?

Autism can definitely be a disability. I think in most countries it’s labeled as such.
