Vent Advice Wanted I remember getting mistaken as one of the players at a special olympics game
So I decided to go with my mom and older brother who has severe intellectual disabilities to his special olympics championship game. While there, my mom gave me some money to get something at the food stand so I went there and when I got there the worker asked me point blank if I was playing today. I was confused as to why he would ask that kind of question and I responded with "Uh, no." and I continued with my order. This never occured to me until that moment. Do people around me see me as someone who appears to be slow? I don't know how I didn't see this before. Does this have anything to do with my autism? Could he tell that I was "special"?
