Meta What are the most common questions in sales?
Starting a car sale job soon at Chevrolet. What are some commonly asked questions and what do you say to them? I'm mainly talking about the "I need to ask my wife" and "What's the best you can do?" stuff. (also is Chevrolet good? I see people saying its one of the worst companies to sell cars for.)

What do you usually say to these people? and also are these people the kind of people to actually buy?

Unfortunately assholes buy cars.
It’s honestly fun to ask them, appropriately, the equivalent of “show us on the doll where the salesman touched you”. People like that are convinced they’ve been screwed over and it AIN’T GON HAPPEN AGAIN!
“Mr Fuckstick, Have I done something to upset you? It seems like you’ve had a Bad experience in the past. I have as well. But unless you correct me I don’t think I’ve done anything to deserve the way you’re treating me.”

"No problem, ive come home with a new car without discussing it. One time. I'll never do that one again. But you'll want to make sure she likes the color and comfort of it. How about we grab some lunch for all three of us and go pick her up for a spin around the block?"
"Of course we are willing to negotiate some on our cars. We have our desired price listed right here. What we're you looking to offer?" 90% is just getting any number out of their mouth, then you have something to actually work with. If its otd and low, do the math to get what their actual sale price offer is, then pop up others for sale on cargurus in your area to compare.
