if im to buy a car from a dealer with personised plates and dont want them do i need ablue slip to get other plates as he states it has 2months rego and has to give the plates to the other owner 🤔 he states he will put 1year rego and new plates but will need the blue slip is that correct.

OP, please add some details, is the car new or used? in your state, do tags stay with the car or does the new owner get their own?

every state has different rules.
