Please help me season!

Hi, I am a teenage girl who grew up in a very White House, my mother cooks all our food and (unfortunately) seasons like the white person she is. What seasonings should I buy to add some flavor to my food?

(No hate! I’m just tired of unseasoned chicken 😓)

Your cabinet can start with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can’t go wrong with these. Just don’t go too hard on them

I would add cumin for meats, and Italian seasoning mix for sauces. Get some season salt as a general flavor add on and sazon' and abodo when you ready to start experimenting.

In addition to the other comments, grab yourself some Cajun seasoning or pre made seasoning blends such as kinder’s seasoning. They have steakhouse, buttery garlic, pot roast, taco, etc, seasonings that are an easy way to flavor your food without having to buy a bunch of different seasonings. Moreso for convenience!

Update! So I made my dinner but this time I added, paprika, garlic, onion powder, and salt and pepper. ( like someone recommended) And oh my god it was so much better than anything I’ve had in a while. It may seem stupid but it was sooo good, not like unseasoned chicken breast or just boiled potatoes.
