Hey, so this might be a stupid question but may I know what the difference is with studio trigger panel and the cyberpunk edgerunner panel? I know studio trigger does other animes but in the description it says cyberpunk so I'm getting a bit confused if they are basically the same or if the studio trigger one will probably announce more anime along with cyberpunk and if we will see a first look at the anime in both panels.

Lost all the lotteries I entered, but I'm most heartbroken in losing for Kaneshiro and Nomura for Blue Lock. I saw a previous thread mention that last year, they were announcing new autograph sessions a week before AX.

What are the chances they'll open paid autograph sessions following the "Please note: Some Guests may also elect to do additional paid Industry Autograph sessions." line on the AX Autographs page?

Should I camp the autograph session line from event opening and see if they'll let me in due to no-shows, even without a standby ticket? Should I consider myself SOL & just resell my ticket since I really only wanted to go for autographs?

I've won the signing for Kamome Shirahama signing and I saw it's for Friday, but I only have Thursday ticket. Do I need to buy a Friday pass to be allowed to be in the signing?

To give a little context, I bought my boyfriend and me anime expo tickets, so the ID number for entering the autograph lottery ticket was the same. I transferred one ticket to him, and we both applied for the Yoshitaka Amano autograph session. I got the email saying I won the ticket; he did not, but when I put the info down for accepting the ticket form, I put down his name instead of mine, so he could go see him instead of me. We also have the same address on our state IDs if that affects anything. I'm wondering if I shot myself in the foot with this one because of the "no transfer" thing, and if so, is there any way to remedy it?

Last 2 years I went to Senpai Squads party and it was good. I heard Sonicboombox has one and cosplay deviants has one too. Sucks they are all usually on 7/4 so gotta make a choice 😂

i’m back again and I’m curious what everyone’s con budgets usually look like and what you think is the best way to plan for one. Between cosplay, hotel, food, merch, artist alley, transportation, and emergency spending, conventions get expensive FAST. especially this year in this economy .

Do you guys:

• save a set amount every paycheck?
• make separate budgets for cosplay vs spending money?
• go all out or keep it strict?
• use cash only at the con?
• budget daily spending limits?

I’m trying to figure out what a realistic “good” con budget is without overspending and wanted to hear what works for other people.

hey everyone. i had a quick question about bag size. i really wanted to take my itabag of himmel to anime expo but its about 2 inches bigger than the bag policy they have on their site. are they harsh when it comes to bag sizing? should i take it with me and risk it or should i find a bag that’s a little smaller and fits their policy?

I haven’t gotten my badges shipped yet and I am worried about the shipping being unfulfilled. I already have my confirmation and transfer accepted, but right now, im more concerned about the shipping status.

For those who have dealt with this situation, what should I do if the shipment is still unfulfilled? Does anime expo allow attendees to pick up their unshipped badges on site?

I'm looking into buying a secret lab chair but wanted to see if i should wait until AX to buy it. Do they have better sales at anime expo? or are the regular sales they have the best they get

This is kind of out there, but are there any people who professionally style wigs (for female cosplays) planning to attend? I don't have anyone local here in the San Joaquin Valley (CA) I can ask for help and there's been a couple of wigs I've tried styling myself with tutorials and I just haven't been happy with the results. I don't need anything crazy, just some basic crimping, cutting/styling bangs, curling, etc. I have my own wigs and most of the required materials, the only thing I don't have is a crimper. Happy to pay for this kind of service, feel free to comment or message me. Hopefully this kind of post is allowed-- if not please let me know!

This is my first time going to a convention/Expo like this, so im unaware of how Autograph signings work. I was under the impression everyone just gets on line, wait to be called and then have the person in question sign something you want. For the Anime Expo specifically, how do the Autograph signings work? Do you have to pay for them and if so how much? I can't find on an official site how much each would be.
