Question Blue lock Nomura/kaneshiro
Hello guys! I’ve only been to anime expo once and the last time i went was for the obey me meet and greet, however I ended up not being able to get in due to the amount of people in line. I really want to go this year for the kaneshiro and nomura meet and greet is there any tips or anything like that people could give me to ensure my spot?

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but they have already done the autograph lottery for the Blue Lock team. You can apply for the Kodansha House talk panel which is at the Kodansha House off-site location during Anime Expo, but otherwise there’s no other way to attend the meet and greet.

To be clear, that is also lottery so there is no guarantee (even if you were to line up super early)

Go to the Kodansha House website and make an account, then go to the meet and greet page for the Blue Lock guests 👍 it’s all right on the front page, should be easy to navigate

Can you specify if you mean the autograph session (that you can only win through lottery) or the official Kodansha hosted panel at the con (tba)?

The official panel is stated by Kodansha to take place on Saturday July 4th but Anime Expo hasn't officially announced their exact time and location yet.
If the panel is the first one of that room just line up early in the morning
If the panel is the 3rd one of the day (like 2-3 PM) then you can start reserving your seat for the best view in the first panel of the day (10 AM) if you got nothing else to do
It really depends on the popularity of the panels that happen before the one you want to go to though...and the location they choose
For example if the Blue Lock panel is right after a hyped premiere or popular series panel I would attend that panel just to secure my spot in the front section. At least you'll get to wait inside an air conditioned room

do you know when they would announce it? i’m also pretty sure the panel is at 6:00pm but I haven’t seen anything about it on the app

On Saturday this is the Blue Lock Creators Schedule
- 12:30 PM Anime Expo Autograph Session (Lottery results already announced)
- Official Anime Expo Panel (time/location tba)
- 6-9 PM Kodansha House Little Tokyo Meet and Greet + Autograph (Lottery application open until June 5)

For popular events without tickets, the only real strategy is to get in line as early as they let you. Bring a water bottle, something to keep you entertained and a way to keep cool (ice pack, umbrella if the line is outside, etc.)
