What an insane episode, it’s so satisfying seeing Dai just pummel Vearn. After all the shit he’s put everyone thru it’s so nice to see him with his back against the wall. Physically outclassed so he has to resort to mind games against Dai. Luckily Dai was smart enough to not fall for them.

I wish Leona would actually make herself useful for a change tho. It’s really ironic that she gave that long speech a few weeks ago about wanting to fight and be apart of the battles and then ever since then she’s been more sidelined than ever lmao

Shits about to get really real next week with Mystvearn, I can not wait to see how things play out with him going all out. How funny would it be if he was stronger than king Vearn

Well, Dai no Daibouken uses JRPG tropes, and Leona is a support/healer character. She simply can't fight directly on her own. So, in this episode, she did precisely what she were supposed to based on her role in the team. It's maybe a bit disappointing but it's consistent with the setting.

Also, really excited to see Mystvearn going all out next week!
