Why do people call him Gou when the name is clearly Go because POKEMON GO?

Because his Japanese name is read as Gou.

But I watch on japanese and they very clearly say go(h)

That's how you pronounce Gou.

No problem. That's how the Japanese always pronounce the ou sound.
