No, and a very small percentage of anime are gonna have eye width that wide. They exist, yeah, and I'll call them goofy every time.

The problem is with the adaptation. Boichi can draw very well and a lot of the women he draws in his R18 works do not have this problem; even in the manga for this, the problem isn't there. For whatever reason, the animation studio exaggerated the spacing on the women's eyes.
