It creates Suishou to "prove that humans aren't fit to be mages".

That makes me wonder if it couldn't have created Suishou to only let someone like Shingetsu win. I have a bad feeling that this anime will leave a lot of "but why though?" questions unanswered.

I’m already annoyed that Mangetsu's rage form just ended up being “Oh it’s this cool thing that she can do”.

"Because she's connected to the Magiaconatus" I guess.

But if the Magiaconatus severed the magic that was maintaining her existence... why didn't it sever the magic that gives her superpowers in Granbelm? If it's so that she can help Shingetsu defeat Suishou, why doesn't the Magiaconatus just get rid of Suishou? The Magiaconatus is the source of the magic they use to fight, right?

I like the theory that Magiacanatus wants to be destroyed, but if that’s the case creating Mangetsu doesn’t make sense since that’d push her away from following through there.

I don't particularly like that theory, but I can't think of a better way to explain why the Magiaconatus would be seemingly helping Shingetsu win.

Does the Magiaconatus have intent or not? Suishou certainly talks about it like it does.
