Wrap up with Kazusa and Izumi was well done, but I feel like Momo didn't get that nice of a conclusion. She fumbles around not knowing whether she's gay or bi, then the thing with Sugawara was really vague. She deserved more screen time in general, I mean the scene where she basically gave the middle finger to redhead kun was sick.

I felt like Momo got worse than no conclusion: she came across as controlling and toxic in this episode. She didn't care how Niina felt, she just wanted to sabotage her because she was jealous.

She wasn't actually trying to sabotage her, or she wouldn't have blurted out those things explicitly. That's hardly a good way to control someone if you tell them exactly what you feel.

When Momo learned that after her call, Niina resolved to tell Izumi that she liked him, she felt betrayed because she was rejected without being told directly. She was venting her frustration at being (finally) rejected and her sadness that Niina was going to pursue Izumi anyway, even after knowing that he liked Kazusa.

Which is also why Niina running to stop her is meaningful. She went to tell Momo that she hadn't rejected her yet, hadn't made her decision. However, she wanted to confess, even if she knew that she would get rejected, to get a proper closure.

The important part is that Niina didn't blame Momo. She wasn't being manipulated, instead Momo was expressing her feelings, and Niina accepted them even if she didn't return them. She understood her frustration because she was prepared to be rejected too.

And Niina probably related to the whole "What, so I gave you that push?! I'm so freaking stupid! I blew myself up to give the main character the power she needed to move forward!"
