It's not perfect, but I'm rather content. The "main conflict" was resolved pretty satisfyingly, but not all narrative branches were resolved in a conclusive manner, which feels somewhat sour considering how well developed they were in my opinion. At the same time, they were all important and contributed to the larger theme of coming of age and sexual discovery/exploration/liberty and I'm very much satisfied with that.
The scene where the school was covered in signs of protests with the girls sharing their newfound insight in the background was absolutely beautiful, and also gave a pretty good summation of the show's theme[s]. Kazusa's final words were perfect as well: "it fit". Both figuratively, in the can we handle all these emotions and the turmoil they bring with them sense, and more on the nose literally, which in itself was a core part of her turmoil, to begin with.
About the series as a whole, it wasn't perfect, but my opinion is that it was fantastic. It managed to successfully develop several narrative branches, each with their own twists and turns, up and downs, points of intertwinement and whatnot. There was, surprisingly, quite a lot of humor in this series alongside the drama, and it was on-point at all times, and the balance between the two was handled incredibly well. The characters were likable and believable, their inner turmoils identifiable and plausible, and even if not all was resolved conclusively for them, their development was satisfying and entertaining, it even went on throughout the last credits sequence and beyond, which is impressive in its own right. These alone, in my opinion, make this show a cut above most, a once in a blue moon, a true gem. It wasn't perfect, but it was absolutely terrific throughout, and I loved every single minute of it.
Besides that, or rather, on top everything so far, personally, it's been a good while since I've been so emotionally invested in a series in the manner that I was with this one. Butterflies, pounding heart, shaking and quaking, I went through a whole range of motions and emotions that I'm fairly certain I last experienced like 3 or 4 years ago. That alone makes this series special for me.
