One thing though: has there been any indication of Wise having any kind of feelings for Masato? The way she acted in this episode was very much crush-esque, but I don't remember there being any hint at all before that she'd feel that way.

Very much so. Even way back after they first beat Wise's mom & Wise decided to stay with the group. She danced around Masato's question of "why haven't you logged out too to start mending your relationship with your mom?" & when she was stuttering to find an answer, Mamako & Porter were like "oh. So That's how it is, is it, Wise?"

Between those two points, not too much. Because school arc. Maybe some jealous scenes back when Masato thought Medhi was the perfect role model
