Zoro had a tiny wound and she wrapped up most of his arm. Why?

Okiku used the word "sessha" to refer to herself, which according to Wikipedia is an archaic male personal pronoun "used by samurai during the feudal ages (and often also by ninja in fictionalized portrayals)."

Zorojuru and Luffytaro - nobody will ever figure out their true identities!

I didn't really mind the stretching of the Tama bits, but that arrow spam shit went on for WAY too long. And what stopped Zoro or Luffy from taking the guy out during the spam? Zoro could've easily unleashed an attack that took out the archer and the arrows at once, while Luffy could've dodged through them to get to him.

Zoro had more injuries in the manga, but for some reason they didn't make him receive that many wounds in the anime. The fight last 2 episodes was hardly 10 pages in the manga and neither of them did go all out. In the anime they made Zoro have the high ground which wasn't the case in the source material.

Yeah this was really frustrating for two reasons imo:

  • This sequence was only one panel in the manga

  • Luffy/Zoro had faced similar situations pre timeskip and could deal with it easily.

I think the manga is going fast pace by doing one panel of a lot of events, so that the anime can fill it up. Makes sense to me.
