The actual scene where Zoro and Batman keep switching back and forth is literally 20 seconds. It's a little long, but it's the only scene people are referring to when they say "the blocking went on longer than it should've". After that is new scenes with Zoro and Luffy blocking in different ways that aren't reused as much, if at all.

Yeah, it's also a long-running show that's been airing for ten years. I'm not sure what people expected.

Personally, I don't mind, as long as they deliver when it matters, which they do.
