Go! Fight! But did they win?!

Nice to see what Coach wrote in everyone's journals and heard seen how everyone developed by it. We even found out that she's a mother...much too Kin's shock then admiration. A little disappointed we didn't see the whole performance uninterrupted. Cheerleading didn't seem to be the main-main focus of the show which is fine, I guess.

I'd say it was still a pretty good closing episode.

Go! Fight! But did they win?!

Honestly, I think not showing it was the best option. If you show them winning the championship, it's totally unrealistic given that they're a first-year team against seasoned veterans. If you show them not winning, some audience members are going to interpret that as a let-down or mood-killer in what is supposed to be a celebratory finale.

So by not showing it, they don't get either of those problems, and they instead showed the team's happy post-competition recruitment drive as a way of indicating that - whatever the competition results were - the team is successful and continuing.
