I think they are really dragging this arc out for a girl Gero certainly won't end up with. 3 episodes?

I think it’s more about Gero. He may not end up with each one but he grows or learns from each considering his isolated upbringing. 

This arc is actually quite a few chapters if I remember correctly. They are actually getting through quite a bit faster than expected. Arcs after this and even Shiori are better after this. But I get what you’re saying.

Yeah, I enjoyed the first few episodes and love the idea of the show but might drop it if it is just monster of the week like this for the entire thing.

Like can we move on already, plus I can't really appreciate the sound master. I just want more scenes with Kinosaki 😔

Each job helps establish him as a hero of the underworld and increases his perceived desirability, and he's learning along the way. I didn't like this arc in manga but the anime is making the themes hit for me.
