When the anime was announced, I said that depending on how it was adapted, it had the potential to be anime of the year, and I can confidently say that it is.

Anime of the year..? With everything that's going on and will be going on this year... I highly doubt that.

But single standing, non sequel? Probably. Top 3 for sure from a quick skim throgh of 2026 anime.

No offense, but this isn't even the best show of Winter 2026, considering Journal With Witch exists.
