I understand the operation of time loops, parallel but different worlds, lines...

And I knew the game, but if it was Yuri from the future who gave Setsu the key, how did she give it to him in the first place? I don't know if you understand...because he had to get it from someone to give it to her. It's probably simple but I'm a little lost

It is Ouroboros stuff. If A gets a ball from somewhere then future A time travel back into the past to throw the ball at past A then it complete the loop. It is eating its own tail. Yuri gives Setsu the Silver Key so Setsu gives Yuri the Silver Key. They can't exist without each other. The Silver Key also has 2 snakes biting each other's tails image, it is Yuri and Setsu.

Say you have a time machine and go back in time 50 years. You find the most wonderful person in the world and fall in love, and you have a child. You had a great dad and as such decide to give your son your dad's name.

Plot twist, the person you married is your grandparent. You're your own grandparent/grandson.

This is another version of the popular Grandfather and Bootstraps paradoxes. It's a classic of timetravel stories and I'm surprised not more people know about them.

Basically the Yuri we've following is another's multiuniverse OG-Yuri who was transported by that universe's Setsu, and they received the SIlver Key by another's multiverse Yuri who in turn got their Good Ending (just before the events of episode 1).

In a way, Our Setsu went to another multiverse to repeat episode 1's events.

(Which, in a related note, would make the current fakeout for the series really clever if they announce a "new anime", some kind of "Gnosia: Brotherhood", and we basically see the continuing story of "Our Setsu")
