I really thought the girls wouldn't let Toshio stay with them. He makes a good point that he's been with Hitomi since high school that it's kinda weird that they'd refuse him. I genuinely felt bad for him during that scene.

It turns out, all it took was Asatani offering her Toshio to stay at her place for Hitomi to change her mind. I love how she'd rather risk their secrets being exposed than let Toshio stay with another woman. xD

Considering Hitomi's reaction when Toshio saw her in her underwear, I guess these two have never been intimate with each other despite being together since they were teens.

Rui teasing Toshio and Hitomi by calling them mommy and daddy was so good! I absolutely love their reactions. Looking at Hitomi's face, I don't think she hates the idea.

I feel like instead of using the secret they learned from Toshio's notes. The girls should've just stolen the fake painting and come back for the real one after a few days. Makes them less suspicious. Toshio was real close at figuring out the truth there.

I don't like that Kamiya ended up saving the girls, tho. I know he says he's doing this pro bono but I feel like he's definitely gonna cash in on this favour later.

Side note: Ado posted a full version of the ED, and we get to see that the second half of the song focuses on Toshio's POV.

This episode really emphasized the duality/complicated feelings of Hitomi.

On the one hand, she's a composed and efficient thief determined to steal back her fathers' paintings no matter what. On the other hand, she's also a loving girlfriend (in her own way) who really wants to be with Toshio no matter how hot/cold she can be to him at the drop of a hat and feels guilty for using him as much as she does because she enjoys when they get to be an actual couple. And her jealousy over Asatani and her feelings for Toshio are the most likely thing to complicate Cat's Eye jobs.

And also Ai is now the biggest HitomixToshio shipper lol.

I mean, we saw how she reacted to Toshio touching her boob in episode 1. Obviously no woman probably wants to be suddenly grabbed by the boob without their consent, but that reaction didn't feel like one that would come from a girl who is frequently physically intimate with her boyfriend. Wouldn't it be wild if that cheek kiss last episode is the first time she ever kissed him? And he didn't even know it was her at the time lol.
