Bruh tojima is full STR and VIT build. Bro got no speed and reflex. He is more Kamen rider Nigo than Ichigo with his preference to Rider Punch.

Both Mitsuba and Tackle won because they mastered real martial arts too, they have more balanced build than tojima and ichiyo

Ichiyo says himself that he's learned various martial arts, Mitsuba just notes he learned aikido specifically to fight Ichiyo.

Also theres the obvious thought that Ichiyo lost on purpose trying to inspire Mitsuba (even if he's oblivious later); dude literally cheered Mitsuba on as he was flying in with the rider kick lol.
