It's the feel of 80's-90's shonen anime and manga, something of Saint Seiya, Fist of the North Stars, Sakigake Otokojuku, many of Nagai Go's works, many of Saruwatari Tetsuya's works, etc.

Saint Seiya had that kamen rider energy of we are allies but not really because we will fight each other in a heart beat.

Every anime is inspired by Saint Seiya. Even the ones that came before it.  Hell, the creation of our universe was a direct omage to Saint seiya

Episode 10 is a straight up Kings Road, AJPW wrestling match.

Episode 9 was the Strong Style match lol
