That end fight surprised me.

Turns out that the love and determination of a fangirl, the drive to honor and redeem Tackle's legacy, was enough to defeat even the main character/Kamen Rider.

Honestly, despite the fact that half the show is a shitpost, callback, sendup, or joke this is exactly how you do a strong female character justice. She was handed nothing, she expected no quarter, she took every lick and earned every point.

So when the fight is over you're just like "holy crap, that was badass.". There are no questions, no arguments, no real complaints. Just a bloody great fight, a great finisher, and a great character. Man, they've done her so freakin well.

Also that fight was complete with the theme song back and forth. They really kept you guessing.

EDIT: 6 months later I get a comment from u/EkoChamberKryptonite, checked it out and no comment and no users. Turns out the coward commented, blocked me, then deleted the comment. Over the comment before this edit. Reddit is really full of sad people.

Here's the user's comment and proof they blocked me to make it.

not a split second was spent on whether the MC would take it easy on women

Hell, I was so on edge that when they hadn't dropped the title for the episode yet and we suddenly got that "Tackle's Final Hour" one, I wasn't sure if it was just a reference to explain her motivational powerup, or if that's a split second warning for what'll happen if a fully powered Rider Punch hits a regular human full on. Because for all his rider spirit, I'm not sure I'd expect even V3 to survive one of those suckers if he tries to tank it.

Are you actually serious? The man who demonstrated beyond average evasive techniques with the use of leg blocks and elbows "suddenly" only has one move in a fight against the woman but no he definitely didn't take it easy on the woman. Goodness, why be intellectually dishonest to distract from the fact that they "Mary Sued" her character.

Did we watch the same anime? Are you actually praising this subpar plot inconsistency? She was handed nothing? Are you actually serious? The man who demonstrated beyond average evasive techniques with the use of leg blocks and elbows "suddenly" only has one move in a fight against Tackle (who ends up losing to the big bad anyway) and you dare laud this? Goodness. Some anime fans just take anything.

Edit: I ain't reading any of the olympic-level, mental gymnastics you wrote because you're unhappy you couldn't respond (since you were blocked) to someone calling out your intellectual dishonesty and excuse of poor plot contrivance because you liked the fan service of "a side female character won against the MC and is the strongest. Yayyy women!" even though SHE couldn't hold her own against the big bad at the end and the MC had to fight Bat Man showing foolish power scaling and poor plot inconsistency of the manga/anime. "I'm sorry that happened to you" or "good for you bro". Take either of that as my response and run with it.
