Near the end of the episode, Shiori has a flashback where Hinako calls her a monster. Immediately afterwards, the left side of her face is covered by the shadow of a tree, resembling her half-transformed face (where blue skin creeps up to her left eye). The expression on her face shows some sadness, as if she has realized and accepted who she is. Honestly a great addition, even if it's a little hard to spot.

I have issues with a lot of the production of this episode, which I explain in my reply in the Source Material Corner, but yeah, this was a great detail that I noticed and really dug in the anime.

Not totally sure it's intentional, but if so it's a smart choice.
