Miko: "Have you tried, I don't know, talking to her? Because the last time you avoided conversation, you got half of yourself blown up. Just a suggestion."

"why don't just fucking talk" - 600 years old fox sage.

Well, Miko has had 600 years of experience in dealing with humans -- while Shiori has almost none (other than the first girl and Hinako). I am impressed that Shiori (at least at some level) realizes she needs Miko's help to try to save Hinako.

Shiori understands that while they are both yokai, Miko is widely different compared to her when it comes to interacting and understanding humans.

If anyone is capable of helping her fix her relationship with Hinako is Miko but of course, Shiori is never going to say that out loud

And that Shiori secretly respects Miko because she was able to achieve something that has so alluded her. To me Miko is proof that yokai can change and aren't too different from humans when shown love. Funny enough Miko was also given food by a little girl hundreds of years ago.

Funny enough Miko was also given food by a little girl hundreds of years ago.

Technically speaking Miko was probably 'given food' by plenty of other girls before that, it was just a lot less voluntary...

Ditto for Shiori, I mean she straight up admitted it in this episode.

I respect that Shiori isn't so prideful to avoid asking Miko for help. For maybe a better way of putting it is that her love for Hinako trumps her own pride

Yes. I wonder if Shiori is just being conflicted n terms of having to rely on Miko as a senpai....

I mean, that is the correct suggestion for most relationships problems for a reason

Communication is key. Really fucking important

And yes, it is hard. And man, if I didn't fuck that up multiple times myself

It's easy advice to understand, but damn can it be tough to execute.

Funny how a lot of truths in this world are the same way. Go to bed earlier to feel better in the morning, move around and exercise more for your health, and don't spend all your money on collectables. Easy to say hard to do

But I need that box of Warhammer minis! And that one! Ooh, new terrain?

6

u/ClemFire Dec 04 '25

That's an obvious requirement to life

I have literally over 1000€ worth of built but not yet painted Age of Sigmar minis out in the open in my living room, collecting dust 🙈

You can guess three times if these are the only ones in that state I have and the first two guesses don't count

Do I want to buy more? Of course

That's how I feel when I still wanna build new Commander decks as so many of them languish in my drawer

Shiori: sounds easy coming from a local fox deity that can just wag her fluffy tails and everyone will be fawning over her
