That backstory where we see an optimistic Hinako before tragedy struck.

A young Hinako fed Shiori her lunch and snacks and then Shiori gave her a drop of her blood. Shiori hesitated to eat Hinako because she didn't want to lose the sunshine she emanated at the time.

It was truly heartbreaking to see how much Hinako changed after the accident. In today's episode, Hinako was so cheerful, and so different from how she acts now :(

It could be framed that Shiori learning a "obvious" truth, but what is obvious to most might not be obvious to everyone
