We're peeking at the edges of Oguri Cap's zone, but certainly any real breakthroughs in that will happen next week.

As happens in this series, there's the surprise factors of Tamamo Cross's decision to retire after the race. But as this episode brings up, there are a lot of rivalries to go around. Perhaps Oguri Cap has come to realize that it isn't just the one thing she has to chase.
