I love how they made Michelle My Baby’s racing silks like an American basketball player uniform, complete with a baseball earring (nice touch!), because she sure roughhouses like one!

Also, did Tama just quantum tunnel past Obey?

Anyone else notice that dude that Obey was talking to back in America at the end of season one, who I’m guessing is her trainer, sitting at the bar at the beginning of this ep? I wonder what he has got planned?

Finally, anyone know the backstory behide Ellerslie Pride’s facial scar?

Bonecrusher, the horse Ellerslie Pride's based on, had a distinctive scar on one of his shoulders (guessing his left, since it's on the left side of her face) from an accident with a barbed wire fence when he was a foal. It was bad enough that his owners considered euthanizing him, but instead they stitched it up and he recovered well. It was part of the reason they named him Bonecrusher, since the wound nearly cut deep enough to expose bone (the main inspiration being the pro boxer James "Bonecrusher" Smith). No in-universe backstory for it, to my knowledge.

Thanks for that explanation, I knew it was based on something IRL, but I just didn’t know what. I was curious about it ever since I first saw her character design.
