MCs with chuuni experience(Kazuma, Subaru & Ainz) already got a solid idea on what "Shadow" is actually doing. Being rational with some common sense doesnt really help characters like Tanya & Demiurge in this case!

While Demiurge rejects the possibility, Tanya sees it as the easy solution. It's more about the principle of being ready and assuming the worst.

demiurge is basically doing the same thing he does with Ainz, always reading into things way too much
