In general, I kinda like the new character designs, but the Master... I dunno, right now he just feels like "some guy". I guess it is good that he's realizing stuff about boundaries and that forcing a person into marriage isn't the best way to win a woman's heart... But... did he have to turn into such a milksop "nice guy"? What's the point of this being romantasy if the guy can't at least be a bit toxic?

At this point, I honestly would prefer her with Ginji. The Master seems just so empty and we rarely saw him in the first season to the point that he was basically a secondary character. Maybe we'll learn more about him this season but I just don't see a good connection with them right now.

He's way too passive with his attempts at wooing her and shows almost no emotion. "I'm an ogre so I'm prone to only pursuing my own desires." Ok, SHOW us that!
