The fights weren't great but I think one thing people don't give the series enough credit for is how it handles its themes and ideals. It provides most of the villains with totally reasonable motivations, but instead of pointing out why they're wrong or debating them, it lets you form your own opinions... but provides you ammunition in the form of Seika and Seiji. I'm still of the mindset that money corrupts, rich people tend to suck, and wanting revenge is fair and sometimes just... but sometimes there are exceptions and sometimes there are better ways.
