Kinda sad about karina tbh.

Glad she survived, but her whole thing was that she only got hurt her whole life, and shigeru "fixes" the situation by hurting her some more.

Maybe girl just needs a hug, and for someone to be there for her for once, despite her personality.

Im not saying "we can fix her". Just that i dont think shes bad. Just a hurt kid that has nobody. So the resolution of leaving her on her own with all that anger felt a bit dissapointing.

Instead of putting trillion point in agility to hit her, he should have just put them in hp or defense and let her vent her frustration for a while. I feel like theres just a lot built up that she needed to get out of her system before she could try and live a better life where shes at now.

I feel like I didn't understand Karina. What does she want and why? It doesn't look the same situation as the cassino villain that lost himself looking for revenge. She is so chaotic. Also that last scream about her sister in the last fight makes me think that there is something still torturing her that is important to the plot.

I'm very unsatisfied with this season finale.

Part of the reason Karina is so chaotic/insane is because she doesn't sleep, and that has a lot of negative effects on the mind. Call it poor writing, but her inconsistencies can mostly be explained through that. However, with that being the case, all her emotions do have legitimate sources, even if she doesn't always channel them in logical ways.

She hates Lia because she left her sister alive and made her realize that she couldn't kill her, and the reason she couldn't kill her sister is also the reason she does have some anger over her being stabbed.

She hates Seika because she was the one who got what she wanted, but she hates her even more when she comes to realize that she deserves it more than she does.

She hates the world because it was always cruel to her and she was never saved.

And she hates herself because she is just as cruel and can't control herself due to all the hatred inside her.

So she is full of contradictions and doesn't know that she wants... except that she wants to be saved.

I think I agree with you. We will need to see the second season to confirm but I believe this is the best hypothesis so far.
