Begs the question, what if inside the special notes effect outside of this world then? So you apply, enter the world, exit out and boom!

Wonder if you could change that with special notes. Being able to edit the special notes would have been the strongest ability.

Exactly

It seems like the downsides can be as big as you want but if you twist it or counter it to a degree then it’s basically moot

Naturally that could backfire as we saw when Mc became blonde guy
