For an anime titled like this, there was surprisingly little comedy throughout the show. At first it pretends to be a comedy take on isekai, but starting with the woman who murders beautiful women the show pivots to try to be a serious drama about people who have been traumatized in some way and how they took that bagage to the Isekai world in their special notes.

In my opinion the show got worse for it. The emotional beats didn't really land for me and I don't really care about these characters in the end.

How they were all connected from their past life did not seem to contribute much or anything to the plot, so I'm not really sure what the point of that was?

Still it wasn't terrible or anything. I give it a solid 6/10. Passing grade, but extremely forgettable.

On the other hand, I give this extra points for not being a superficial comedy. It used its comic foundation to tell an ultimately serious story. Which made the show stand out (in a very good way) for me.
