Really love the seeing the twins growing up. Especially Dora, she talks more now.

Oh man what a nightmare for Gilbert lol. Getting rejected then having your whole hometown find out then getting teased about it in front of the girl who rejected you oof.

Diana’s wedding was beautiful and it was nice seeing familiar faces. Got a bit emotional recalling when Anne and Diana were kids. It really feels like we’ve seen them grow up so much.

While I do think Anne and Gilbert belong with each other, I also don’t really like how everyone is kinda lowkey shunning Anne for the rejection. I mean even if I think she made the wrong choice, it’s still her choice. Like who’s to say she genuinely don’t really see Gilbert as a romantic partner.

But anyway, I wonder what Gilbert meant at the end by Anne needing to find a new place that suits her. Is she telling her she’s living in the past and clinging on to her past ideals ? If that’s the case, I’m not surprised tbh. She was probably moved around a lot as an orphan and probably saw Avonlea as the place that fully took her in and don’t want that to change

She's marrying outside of Avonlea, so she will have to move far away to be with prince charming.

Maybe ultimately most of the town liked Gilbert more than they liked Anne...
