2:35: Why is Makina's middle finger blurred? Come on, YouTube! How the F*CK did a generation raised on South Park and Family Guy become so offended by everything?

Chiharu again best girl; her minic is so true and relatable.

Next episode: Please, Makina, don't die in the sense of "die"! A spoiler in an outro often is a disguised spoiler of what really will happen. Let's hope!

Might not be YouTube's fault, the creators could've deliberately done it themselves for comedic effect.

YouTube might actually have had a hand in it. I know a certain circus show on YouTube where the show's creators were forced by YouTube mods to bleep out a joke about having "relations" with people. Normally the creators have their own unique take on censoring obscene words and gestures, but this line was meant to be uncut. (They got around it by including an alternate uncut English track.)

Then again, Milky Subway also airs on TV, and I don't know how censorship works on Japanese television.

  1. Yeah but Digital Circus was (iirc) retroactively forced by YouTube to censor it; Milky Subway censored Makina's finger from the very beginning.

Interesting insight! I go with you both above. It's useless to complain, but we should keep eyes open, as you do, in order to always be aware of the mechanics as what's censored and what's a funny blink of a creator's eye.
