So... is no one going to talk about the Leonore scene? Ryo sensed some bullshit on his way down, and the old mage said that cracked black stone was giving off mana until very recently.

Was that "hero" in the same dungeon? Did their 'great sacrifice to summon the Demon Lord" precipitate this Devil incursion? There was a black stone floating on that altar they summoned, and the scenery looked vaguely similar to the general layout of this dungeon.

Did Ryo JUST miss his reunion with Leonore? If so, where did the Hero's group go? They clearly survived, but no one noticed them coming or going?

And if that really was disconnected from everything in Lune/Lune dungeon... what was that weird black orb they found on the way up, what was that talk about sacrifice, and why is this important?

The LN says that this took place in a dungeon 4000 kms away. I don’t know why they don’t make that kind of distinction in the anime

It was definetly a strange move. I remember reading it I didn't even picture it as a proper dungeon but just a ritual altar in a field. I actually liked that as it gave the impression of a hero just being super forward. No long expedition, no searching, just summon the demon lord to you and kill them and be done with it. Though of course, they are stupid weak to be trying that move lol.
