I honestly thought Ryo would have bonded with Sera over magic being that she's an elf and they always have library dates.

Then, oh it might be curry cause that's one of Ryo's favorite things.

But it turns out she loves sword fighting and you know what, that's cute and works for me too.

I also found it amusing how Ryo created an ice cart. First, it wasn't to transport himself and second, I thought it was gonna magically slide but it was Ryo pulling the damn thing.

I'm just getting a kick out of seeing a well founded romance based on mutual interests and a real bond forming that isn't a harem, in an isekai no less. Of all the slop that gets a second season, this is one I'm already hoping gets one. I could go for a whole series of just Ryo and Sera actually complimenting each other's strengths and growing to respect and love each other.
