I get the feeling that Panty & Stocking was never big on reddit, even with how anticipated Panty & Stocking S2 was for a long time. On 4chan, Twitter and YouTube the series seems reasonably big though.

I am a little disappointed that's there's been very little show discussion aside from Episode 6 on this subreddit though, kinda wonder if the dub cast being changed hurt viewership of the new season.

Pretty sure the mediam age of r/anime is too young to have experienced OG Panty & Stocking, so this is really just for us millennials and some surviving gen xers to enjoy

Also the sub just has bad taste, City the Animation is a complete banger too, complete different comedy and sensibilities, and is also struggling to hit 1k upvotes each week, so don't think Reddit should bee seen as representative of how well a show does

I mean, I'm not a millenial and I saw the show about 10 years ago because I really liked Hiroyuki Imaishi's works (namely Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill). Maybe I'm the minority though.

To put things in perspective, for most people in this sub Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer are the best anime ever made, and they have no idea about Tengen Toppa or Kill la Kill

Gurren Lagann is one of the most popular anime in the 2000s on this subreddit, going by this, and also up there with Eva and Code Geass according to this.
