Okay, time to see what the anime version of [LN/Manga]Anteliseis like. Will it be the relatively straitlaced version from the light novels or will it be the comedic foil from the manga.

I’m pretty excited for the anime-onlies to meet the [LN/Manga]Brain Eaters.Man, I love those guys.

She does serve a comedic purpose in the LN as well. It might be a bit less exaggerated but [LN]she's still insanely overworked and it's used for bits

This hasn't been brought up in the anime YET but is mentioned in the LNs several times up to this point. At moments like when the twins finally let go and start crying [LNs] they don' respond that way just because of his kindness or words. Both then and a couple of other times when he pays attention to someone's emotional state, he exerts an unseen and unconscious pressure on the listener to feel the way he thinks they should I'm not far enough in the books to know if that is impactful or not later but seems to be one of the overarching mysteries of the world.

I wonder if we'll get far enough with the Bug Mom. [LN]because man is that a gut punch for the twins

We should, it’s in both the OP and ED.

She's coming but far enough for the spoiler?

Yeah[LN/Manga]She’s up against a wall of flame in the OP and she’s in a glitchy state in the BraveQuesters pixel art in the ED. Even without speeding up the pace, she should sacrifice herself by the end of episode 10.

[Manga]Dont forget that in that flame wall OP scene, Islas shadow shows the "curse" at work

Anime only here. I'm a little confused about them using the game terms in that world. Is there a system for the residents and so they know what a "magic tree" is? How are they researching a different type of magic without having other people telling them what that is? Do they know what mana is?

You could consider it a feature of the transmigration. [LN]The rules of the transmigrator's origin take over the rules of the invaded world, hence what would seem logic in that world (magic being researched by building on previous knowledge) becomes optional if it enters the scope of the transmigrator's setting. For instance, because Mynoghra has research, researching becomes just the act of solving, without actual meaning behind it. What the dark elves do is essentially solve a bunch of problems, and each problem solved corresponds to an amount of exp that goes into research. There are similar features when it comes to combat for instance:[LN combat example]If a transmigrator's setting includes turn-based combat, then the battlefield would follow turn-based rules even if that does not match the world's rules.

How old are the twins? In the manga they look very young, like 9 or so. Here they look almost like teens or pre-teens.

[LN vol 2] They're described as "probably around 12~13 years old". Here's the introduction illustration.

Thanks, that is what I thought. The animators made them really tall here lol
