Damn...
So it is time for me to discard my thoroughly crafted theory from the previous episode (that the wife orchestrated it all)?
I thought FOR SURE I was right when they started replaying the events while focusing on the wife noticing things and all...
I thought they were about to show us pretty much all the events as I predicted them, in a big reveal montage...
I was so ready for the most vindicated "I FUCKING CALLED IT!" of all time, but it seems that will have to wait hah (or be shelved forever!)
I was waiting for her to grin there, like 'I got you',
and I even thought maybe that was revenge (when they realized the whole thing),
but it was revenge for something else!
Thankfully, he was able to protect her with his dying(?) breath...
They're on top of everything!
Interesting that she's 'just' a concierge, given she could be pretty much anything she wants (top assassin, etc..)!
I guess I'm just stubborn and refuse to admit I was wrong, because I keep seeing things like that and think "That could also work for my theory!"
(That, and her 'randomly meeting him' and all... And "Killer for hires fall in love" too, which could apply to both of them!)
Well, I have to, say, they're FUCKING CUTE together,
so if I'm wrong I feel bad about suspecting her and all,
BUT I'm still not 100% ready to give up on my theory just yet, due to the "To be continued", and the "Corpse reviver" title...
We never saw him die; What if they DID save him, and the "dying service" is just them FAKING a funeral service, in a way to investigate something? Say, find out a motive (like if she goes to collect a massive life insurance or something, or goes to meet with a rival assassin to collect a reward, something like that)?
Well, after episode 2 I was like 90% confident in my theory, and after this one, maybe I'm.. 30% confident? But I still want to believe in it, and not just because I'm stubborn (I mean I am, but not just for that), mainly because everything would fit so well... And also: From a writing perspective, I'm not sure this 'arc' warrants 3+ episodes if there's no more big twist coming... So yeah, I think still believe there's a chance it is what I think it is/more than what it seems... But I suppose we'll find out next episode!)
