It was sweet of Nico to immediately think of inviting Nemu to their summer trip. The two of them have quickly become good friends. I don’t believe that Nemu has any other friends either?

Seeing such a big smile of appear on Nemu’s face while she’d been playing with Nico and the boys in the river was therefore very endearing. I feel like she’s become a slightly less shy as well?

On a different note: vampires being the ones to fight evil is certainly a departure from the usual narrative.

I think Nemu has "friends" but not like "friends friends" who see her outside of school and who don't immediately get intimidated by her wealthy and powerful family.

The gang basically are her "friends friends" who just see and love her for her :)

It is indeed very endearing and see her smile and have fun just warmed my heart so much!

a departure from the usual narrative

Is it really?

Is it really?

Not to mention Blade as well as Alucard and Seras from "Hellsing"

It's a fun little thing but it needs to be executed well and not just get thrown into a story for the sake of, "But don't worry he's actually a good guy!".
