Lol, at 19:18 the guy pushes away the melted metal of his cockpit like Ramba Ral did when Amuro slashed his Gouf's cockpit

Also man, Xavier's gonna end up being that character who fails so much they build up enough rage to be manipulated into using an even worse experimental MS that becomes a mild inconvenience towards the end of the series, isn't he?

I feel like he's going to get some kind of "redemption" with the Zeon girl who keeps bringing him and what happens to him up.

Either that or he fails just enough to not be on the front lines when everything actually hits the fan and becomes magnitudes worse.

I remember thinking that about Gaelio in IBO and then he did all the stuff he did

Not Ein? Was thinking about Ein if it's about experimental suit.

Noooooo this is Anno Hideaki, he is self-aware enough not to repeat... all the other Gundams. Like Ein from Tekketsu no Orphans.

I think Xavier is already shown level-headed enough to not be manipulated around. If anything, I expect him to act on noble principles instead, something that Challia is nurturing outwardly, but does he believe it himself?

Yes! He's a trained soldier and a new type, and yet he seems so clueless and clumsy.
