Anna is back home to visit her family before Summer Break ends! No way was Kenzaburo going to let a young girl go without seeing her parents again! And of course he's there to join her as Grace.
Obviously Anna is going to wax lyrical about her "very special friend" to her parents, so her parents know ALL about Grace before she even meets them. Heck, they've even made choco-cornets in tribute to her and the impact she's had on their daughter! Who knew drill curls could be made so edible?
Though Anna's mom doesn't seem to be just a baker's wife...the way she immediately had Grace pegged as a noble and knows how to deal with nobility has all the hallmarks of someone who used to be or was connected to nobility. And her shared inability to properly lie like her daughter is also a dead giveaway.
Oh no, a cat boy is stuck up a tree! Good thing Grace and Anna are there to use their magic to help save him! With direction from Anna's mother, of course! And while Grace is happy to let Anna take the credit, no way is Anna going to let the whole town not know out how amazing Grave Auvergne is as the best noble to ever noble and the future queen of the kingdom. And now she's got a whole town glowing pink in affection for her!
Could the secret of Anna's mother, and how that ties to Anna's magic, be the key to beating the game? Though Kenzaburo is too much of a polite adult to pry into her privacy.
Of COURSE there's a school festival plot, and Grace is a true man of culture to approve the maid cafe and come up with the wholesome reasoning that it would make the nobility appreciate maids more. Grace isn't about to be one of those gatekeeping PTA moms (or like the OG!Grace) who dismisses classic anime! And as a true noble, he'll take full responsibility, be it for nobelss oblige or because he thinks screwing herself over will help Anna's love life! Either way, thanks to the Gentleman Cheat, he's charmed his family too. Sasuga Grace-sama.
So what's the student council going to put out during the festival? Why, a cross-dressing play of course! Courtesy of Grace's mother, who is finally recovered and on her way back, which is a new hurdle for Kenzaburo to have to deal with while in Graces' body. Though first things first is living up to her legacy from back when she and Grace's father were in the student council.
And I love how Kenzaburo's wife and daughter already respect Grace's mom for her cultured choices in plays.
The student council boys cross-dressing would be a hit (especially Pieree, Lambert, Virgile, and Magical Girl Lucas-chan) but all Anna cares about is cross-dressing Grace! Kenzaburo thinks she's showing her main character traits, but his family can tell it's because Ann's just that down bad for Grace! Is this play going to be okay?
