They both deserve to win tbh. The way I just think of it is that Frierent started in 2023, so it's AotY 2023. Dandadan started in 2024, so it's AotY 2024.

I haven't done the math yet of how long this will run. But I'm hoping Cour 2 runs into 2025 so I can give Frieren 2024 and Dandadan 25
