So this whole thing with 500 new characters and evolutions + changing names every week is definitely tongue-in-cheek right? Like, they don't actually expect anyone to keep track of it.

Honestly, I don't even understand why they all left the base at the end there but I'm along for the ride I guess

Lol, that would be an amazing twist on that becoming-god trope.

Depends on what his priorities are. It's clear at the moment he wants people of his own to rule over and form bonds with.

If he was really obsessed with power, he really should have eaten Velvet instead of just burning him off. I have a feeling if they have him ascend to godhood, it will involve killing and eating another god.

Right? Like I felt like I missed a scene, "I'm gonna take the girls back to the human town" turns into "ok lets all go our separate ways"

if they stay in their cave it would be season over lol, so they need something to make them explore the world

MC founded a mercenary company, so they will need to travel for jobs at least, or there is no much point in it haha

MC also wants to get stronger, so at least he needs to go where new things to eat are. Like new people, new monsters, new rocks, ...

I mean, the fact that Ogrou has a hard time keeping tack of them kind of says a lot.

MC wants to fight/eat stronger enemies and he’s already god of the forest. Not much more he can do there
