Video Super Mario Land 2 - Overworld Theme (Styled like an Animaniacs Song)
No have no idea how long I've wanted to do this. Most of the inspiration for this came from the Animaniacs song 'What Are We', as well as Tee Lopes and The 8-Bit Big Band's cover of it.

Discussion Runt deserved better
This might sound like a hot take given the controversy surrounding the character but Iām just gonna say it: Runt was completely harmless and didnāt deserve any of the hatred thrown at him from people demanding his removal from the series for ableist reasons.
As someone who is neurodivergent, I genuinely like the character. His personality is someone who cares despite his dimwitted nature (heās a dog so that makes sense) and he even gets along with other characters in both Animaniacs Stew and Wakkoās Wish. Heās a generally friendly guy with a capacity for emotional intelligence even if he isnāt the brightest, he still cares about his friends and will help out on occasion.
I think the Rain Man parody stuff is an understandable sore spot for the Autistic community and that movie definitely has its detractors who view it as a misrepresentation of the disability spectrum. However, I donāt think this justifies throwing vitriol at a character who simply wanted to be loved and cared for while being a silly comedic cartoon character.
Even in Wakkoās Wish, it implies he was putting on a brave face for Rita in the original show given how aware he was of how awful his situation actually was. He was homeless, had traveled the world while suffering hardships that would break most people. But at that point, he was losing hope. It was only after the kindness of the townspeople gave him and Rita a chance at sincere happiness that he was finally at peace with his situationā¦
ā¦until the 2020 reboot undid all of it and tried to kill him off.
This was the tipping point for me. They treated him with distain and threw him away alongside many other characters from the cartoon ensemble cast. It was insulting and a slap in the face to everyone who genuinely liked the character.
It wouldnāt have been hard to make Rita and Runt therapy pets. Especially for other animal characters who needed it. It wouldāve been amazing to see him using his empathy, kindness and goofy personality to help others.
I think it wasnāt fair to disregard him and the others. It was definitely shameful and pretty ableist to throw him away when all he wanted was to be treated with kindness despite his problems.
He definitely deserved better.

Discussion Animaniacs wasn't really successful in Japan
While Animaniacs was successful in America, I just found out that the show wasn't successful in Japan compared to Tiny Toon Adventures and only had 13 episodes dubbed there. The reason of this is due to the show relying on massive amount of verbal humor and American pop-culture references.

Discussion Something about the reboot...
When I was scrolling through x.com and found a comment stating that the background human characters are ugly in the reboot series. And that made me wonder, "Are they REALLY ugly?" Provide me with some images to help me understand.

Fan Art Anime-niacs AU Origin: Loss
This isn't a full fancomic (I'm still making that, with it taking place the same night as the previous Anime-niacs fancomic), but just two images (a main image, and an alternate angle image). I wanted to show off something from the Warner's past in the AU, that being the very day the siblings lost their parents.
Yakko witnesses Salazar and his men take down Willam and Lot (their parents), and he tries to head back inside the house to stop Salazar, but Wakko tires to pull him away, knowing that he'd would've died with their parents as well. Dot, fortunately, never got to see it happen.
This is actually the first time I used a younger Yakko model, who is literally just Main Yakko but shrunk. Same for Wakko and Dot, who's hanging onto Wakko's back. Although we're not quite there with how Yakko got the bandages yet. Here, Yakko would've been around 5, and Wakko being 3. And despite her size, Dot's still young, like a few months (toon stuff).
